New Patient Evaluation & Treatment
90 min/$130 or $125 cash
During your first appointment we discuss your health history and your goals for treatment, after which I walk you through what to expect before moving on to your first acupuncture treatment. I want to hear your story so we can work on helping you recover faster, together.
Follow-Up Treatment
60 min/$90 or $85 cash
At each follow up visit, I review and evaluate your progress to best tailor your acupuncture treatment to meet your needs.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of medicine in the world, having originated in China over 2,000 years ago.
It’s stuck around for so many years because it works!
Acupuncture works at the bioelectrical level of the body as opposed to a chemical level like medication. In our bodies, we have energy flowing along pathways to all organs, glands and cells. When the flow of energy in these pathways becomes disrupted or blocked, pain and illness develops. And with the body’s energy out of balance, it cannot function properly.
By inserting very fine, sterile needles at various points on the body, we can release these blockages and restore the body’s natural flow of energy, helping it return to a state of health. It’s painless and works with your body to promote healing without medication or unwanted side effects.

Does It Hurt?
Even if acupuncture is new to you, you probably understand that it involves the placement of needles at various points on the body.
Without fail, my new patients always remark “I didn’t feel that at all!” when the first needle is inserted.
I can absolutely understand one’s hesitation about needles (Who likes hypodermic needles anyway! But that’s not what I use!), but trust me when I say that acupuncture will not hurt. So don’t let that fear stop you from trying this effective form of treatment.

Auriculotherapy
Auriculotherapy—sometimes called ear acupuncture—is a specialized form of acupuncture that focuses on the ear. Auriculotherapy is gentle, non-invasive, and often provides noticeable results quickly. Even patients who dislike needles can benefit using ear seeds or acupressure. Try it today!
Cupping
Cupping is the use of suction cups placed on the body to relieve tight muscles, increase blood flow and relieve pain. It can also be used to relieve asthma and constipation.

What to Expect
Once you come in for your treatment you’ll never want to leave or so my patients always tell me!
My office is located in Cornelius, NC, conveniently located off I-77 to serve those in Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Concord and the surrounding areas.
Treatments last about 25-40 minutes during which you are lying on a massage table fully clothed or draped.
You are not covered in needles – only a handful are used at locations relevant to your condition and treatment goals. Most needles are positioned below the knee or elbow or on the back or abdomen.
I leave you with a bell to ring should you need me otherwise you are left to take a nap with AMAZING heat lamps to keep you warm and soothing music to listen to.
